Longtime parishioner of St. Boniface, who started the original http://www.catholic-forum.com/churches/028stboniface site in 1998. Even though the parish is gone, this site remains to tell the story of this historic faith community that served south St. Louis for more than 140 years. Not sure where to post this but was wanting to know if anyone has suggestions for a outstanding fish fry in the south city/county area? Channel 9 recently did a store on a church in St. Charles that made everything from scratch and I would like to find something similar a little closer to home.
Thanks for the note!
I'm doing a little research on that one myself.
K-hits radio station actually does a "Fish Fry World Tour" every year.
Here's their list for this season:

I'm from St. Matthias parish now, so of course, I'm going to recommend them if you're in South County.
I've also been to Assumption Parish (on Mattis Rd.) and theirs is not bad, either. I believe they're a former World Tour stop.
Most of these aren't haute de gamme dining experiences, but decent.
