Hello from Iraq! I am another Catholic priest who was influenced by this holy man. Msgr. Wells was my assistan pastor when I was in gradeschoool, we kept in touch throughout high school and college and he was the first person ever to ask me about going into the seminary. He is deeply missed, I pray that I can be one tenth of the priest he was. I currenlty serve in Iraq with the Army National Guard as a Chaplain. I keep Msgr. Well's in my mind often and ask myself how he would respond to a particular situation.
May his soul and the souls of the faithfully departed rest in peace. Amen.
