From the St. Louis Review of yesterday, November 3Fr. Begley was the pastor of St. Boniface from 1997 to 2001.
Rev. Thomas M. Begley, pastor of St. Luke the Evangelist Parish, Richmond Heights, has submitted the resignation of his pastorate and requested the status of retirement for reasons of health. His resignation has been accepted, and he has been granted the status of retirement, with private residence, effective Nov. 7, 2006.
Longtime parishioner of St. Boniface, who started the original http://www.catholic-forum.com/churches/028stboniface site in 1998. Even though the parish is gone, this site remains to tell the story of this historic faith community that served south St. Louis for more than 140 years.
